Set the selector switch to x1 or with decal added - x10 then detect check source. Lean it up against something and come back around 30 to 60 minutes later. Rebuilt, and calibrated, using the supplied 6993 tube, they will detect a melt down or nuke cloud from overseas with ease. It should unscrew then.
